Jennifer Garner to Star in ‘Five-Star Weekend’ Peacock Series Based on Novel From ‘Perfect Couple’ Author

Joe Otterson TV Reporter Peacock has ordered a series adaptation of the Elin Hilderbrand novel “The Five-Star Weekend” with Jennifer Garner attached to star, Variety has learned.

The project was first reported to be in development at Peacock in April 2024 as part Sue Naegle and Ali Krug’s overall deal with UCP under their Dinner Party Productions banner.

The official description of the series states: “Hollis Shaw (Garner), a famed food influencer known for her delicious recipes, impeccable taste, and warm demeanor suffers a devastating loss.

Unable to move forward, the death starts to expose the cracks in Hollis’s picture-perfect life—her strained marriage, her complicated relationship with her daughter, and her growing pursuit of validation from her followers.
