Packer, who is leading the the first all-Black team to produce the show, chat with The Hollywood Reporter earlier this month about his aims to create a show 'that is entertaining and appeals to a broad swath of the viewing public.'You need something other than just a chance to see stars,' Packer said. 'My approach is to bring everybody together around the idea of a love for cinema.
