Jeff Brazier has paid tribute to his son Freddy as they watched their Race Across the World journey come to an end on-screen on a special day.
The father and son duo were among the pairs racing almost 7,800 miles from the Amazon Rainforest to Chile in the BBC show. The journey saw the pairs race across the length of South America, through the likes of Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.
But they had been stripped of all mod-cons and luxuries including smartphones and bank cards, competitors had to rely on their skills, hard work and the kindness of strangers to succeed with a limited budget.
For Jeff and Freddy, it was an emotional journey with viewers often left in tears over their frank and moving conversations with one another as they discussed an array of personal topics from the loss of Freddy's mum, Jade Goody, to Jeff's parenting in the years following Jade's death.
