Jason Manford was seen celebrating in a Stockport bar with punters last night after performing a huge homecoming show. The Salford-born comedian, who lives in Stockport, was performing at the Stockport Plaza theatre on Thursday night (January 16) as part of his A Manford All Seasons tour, which is running until the end of November.
After the show, the star, who will also be taking on hosting duties for The National Lottery's Big Night of Musicals at the AO Arena later this month, visited the Heaton Social bar, on Shaw Road in Heaton Moor.
Visiting alongside comedian and fellow pantomime co-star Ben Nickless, who had opened for Jason’s Stockport Plaza show, the pair were joined by friends and family including Jason’s wife Lucy Dyke.
Posting on Facebook, the cocktail bar shared news of the superstar’s appearance by writing: “Last night, we had the honour of hosting @jasonmanford, his family, and friends after his live show, ‘A Manford All Seasons,’ at @thestockportplaza. “As a relatively new venue in the vibrant town of Stockport, we were thrilled to be recommended to them by a friend, especially with so many lovely bars to choose from!
