Jared Leto is in talks to take on a big new role. The 52-year-old Academy Award winner is “close” to signing on for Barry Levinson‘s John F.

Kennedy conspiracy movie Assassination, Deadline reports. The “deal isn’t closed yet, but is nearing,” via the report. Al Pacino, Jessica Chastain, Brendan Fraser and Bryan Cranston are all attached to star. Kilgallen’s journey will put her up against the CIA, mafia bosses and the FBI, all who would love nothing more than to make her and this story disappear.” Production is set to begin in Boston, Mass.
