Janey Godley received a "disgusting" call from her old pal Sir Billy Connolly, cheering the late star up while she was in a hospice.
The 63-year-old comedian, who died after receiving treatment for cancer, was left in stitches after she took a call from fellow Glaswegian Billy, reports the Mirror.
She revealed the 81-year-old's phone call put a smile on her face, writing on X : "A Florida phone call from an old Glasgow pal can fair cheer me up.
Same old darkest, offensive, humour and plethora of disgusting swearing as always! Laughter abound! What a smile though - what a man - may comedy always be as offensively funny now and forever." Janey's witty skits went viral during the Covid-19 lockdowns, in which she shared voiceovers of politicians and fiercely stood up for the rights of others.
