Jane McDonald preparing for ‘different type of Christmas’ after the death of fiancé Eddie

Jane McDonald, 59, has described how “grateful” she is to have had the support of close friends after her fiancé Eddie Rothe sadly died last year.The star has recently discussed her Christmas plans with her nearest and dearest.

The former Loose Women presenter is returning to her hometown of Wakefield this year, where she will be surrounded by family.

Jane will join her loved ones at her West Yorkshire home and will be spending time with 11 family members - including her niece’s adorable new baby.

Christmas has changed for Jane over the last couple of years following Eddie’s death in March, 2021. The musician, who was best known for being the drummer in Liquid Gold and later The Searchers, died following a battle with lung cancer.
