BBC1 docu-soap The Cruise, she's now got her own seven-series-long Cruising show, with the latest instalment starting off in a place very close to her heart. In season seven, Jane begins her journey in Fort Lauderdale, on Florida's southeastern coast. And she chose this as the start point for a reason - it's one of your favourite places.Chatting to The Version ahead ahead of the latest series, she explained why she wanted to kickstart the show somewhere that's very special to her."I lived in Fort Lauderdale, I met Henrik [Brixen], my first husband, in Fort Lauderdale!" she exclaimed."That is where we had our house and I have just got such great memories."Jane added: "I know my marriage didn’t work out, but we had a good time while we were together."She has previously opened up about the end of her marriage to Henrik, admitting that he left her in order to save her career. The pair first met while she was filming the BBC show, with Henrik working as a plumber on board the ship at the time.Soon, a romance blossomed and they went on to tie the knot in 1998, with their wedding featured in the fly-on-the-wall series.Henrik became Jane's manager but after four years decided to end things, for fear he would prevent the former Loose Women panellist from being successful.Jane told the Mirror back in 2018: "Henrik tried his very very best and he was brilliant at what he did, but he didn’t know the industry."We'd come to a point where Henrik had made quite a few enemies and he said, 'If I don’t leave you, you are never going to have a career.'"And that is why I never talk about Henrik in a bad light at all because he was the one that walked out of the marriage to save my career."And the star has indeed gone on to enjoy great.
