Jamie McAllister is a top target for the vacant Inverness job. The Highlanders are set to hold talks with the former Scotland international.
McAllister has just left Hibs after being No. 2 to Lee Johnson. He now wants to go out on his own. That has sparked interest from Caley Thistle who are looking to replace Billy Dodds, who was sacked last week.
The Inverness board have already shortlisted their candidates and are ready to start the interview process after this weekend’s clash with Dundee United.
Inverness are set to speak to McAllister and Celtic B boss Darren O’Dea, who are two of the names on their wanted list. Former Inverness player and Morton manager Dougie Imrie is another who has more than his growing share of admirers on the board of his former club, while Hearts B boss Liam Fox who could come under consideration.McAllister is a highly-rated coach and was a major part of Johnson’s team at Bristol City, Hibs and Sunderland.
