James Franco has denied the sexual misconduct allegations against him, describing the claims as ‘salacious’ and ‘false’. The 41-year-old actor is accused of sexually inappropriate behaviour towards two students, Sarah Tither-Kaplan and Toni Gaal, who filed lawsuits against him in October.
According to the students, the misconduct took place in 2014 at Franco’s acting school, Playhouse West Studio 4, before it closed in 2017.
However, Franco is now said to have filed a demurrer – a written objection to the lawsuit – hitting back at the allegations.
