Depp, 47, has been giving testimony during his libel trial against News Group Newspapers. The movie star is suing NGN over a story published in The Sun in 2018 which branded him a "wife beater" - a claim which he strenuously denies.
During yesterday's stint on the witness stand, Depp was asked about an argument he had with his former wife, 32, during a flight on a private jet in 2014.
The pair were taking a plane from Boston, where Depp had been filming a movie, to Los Angeles and the actor has been accused of raging at Heard over claims she'd bedded her co-star, Franco.
