Manchester United's supporters lauded youngster Amad after he netted a stunning goal in Sunderland's Championship play-off semi-final against Luton Town at the Stadium of Light on Saturday evening.

Having fallen behind to Elijah Adebayo's 11th-minute opener, the Black Cats, who snuck into the final play-off berth on the final day of the season, levelled things up shortly before half-time through a sublime Amad goal.

The United loanee bent home a stunning free-kick into the far corner of the net to take the roof off the Stadium of Light. It was a sensational hit and it marked his 14th goal of the campaign - and his most important so far.

He also scored in the Black Cats' 3-0 final-day win over Preston North End last Monday.
