Marcus Rashford is absent from Manchester United's squad to play Bournemouth in the Premier League this weekend due to illness.
Rashford missed the 2-0 victory against Wolves last weekend with an injury and although he returned to first-team training in midweek, he subsequently reported to Carrington on Friday morning with symptoms of sickness.
Ten Hag confirmed at his press conference ahead of playing Bournemouth that Rashford was a doubt and it's now been confirmed he did not travel with the squad for Saturday afternoon's match on the south coast. Ten Hag spoke to MUTV ahead of kick-off to explain his team and said: "We played a good game last week. It was a very dominant game, so today I expect the same and we do it with the same line-up, which means the routines can stay. "Very important [McTominay return], there are always players that you can't miss in the squad and the players like Scott, they are so important across a whole season, whenever as a starting player or ready to come on, he has a great attitude. "He's always aggressive, always bringing something to the team, a positive vibe, so really happy he's back.
