This Morning's Sian Welby has been named as the 'front runner to take over from Holly Willoughby', after she made her presenting debut on the show on Monday, January 22.

Fans of the daytime show will recognise Sian, 37, already, as she's often presented a showbiz segment on the programme and also gave viewers all of the latest I'm A Celebrity gossip from Sian's Shack last year.

Despite admitting she was "nervous" at the start of the show, which she presented alongside Dermot O'Leary, Sian smashed her first day on the job, interviewing big celebrities such as actors Austin Butler and Kevin Hart.

Fans were delighted with Sian's performance as they rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to voice their opinions. One wrote: "Sian is smashing it on #ThisMorning," whilst another said: "Sian is the absolute best since Holly left." Ladbrokes have announced that Sian is now the favourite to replace Holly Willoughby as the main presenter on the show, after Holly's departure in October 2023.
