Sian Welby has spoken out after her four-day stint at This Morning came to a close, saying she had the "best week of my life" on the ITV show.TV and radio presenter Sian, 39, became the latest guest host to appear on the daytime show, as she teamed up with Dermot O'Leary, 50, to front This Morning from 21 - 25 January.
However, Alison Hammond returned to the show on Friday, 26 January for her usual presenting slot with Dermot, meaning Sian's time as host has come to an end.
This Morning shared a video on Instagram to mark the occasion, writing: "@sianwelby reflects on her amazing week presenting #ThisMorning!" Sian broke her silence to express her thanks to viewers in a comment under the post, writing: "What I didn’t get to say was thank-you to all of you who watched me cover and didn’t know who on earth I was, but still decided to give me a chance and even write a nice comment under a post.
You don’t realise how much a kind gesture like that means or the positive impact it has so thank you." Many flocked to praise her, with co-star Vanessa Feltz writing: "You did a terrific job!
