ITV The Masked Singer's Maya Jama insists 'we are happy' as she addresses Stormzy relationship

Maya Jama has opened up about her relationship with rapper Stormzy following their split last year. The pair, who first began dating in 2014 before breaking up in 2019, delighted fans when they got back together in 2023.

But the Love Island host, who is set to return to present the second All Stars series this month, has now insisted that after their second split, they are both content with being in the "friendship zone".

Addressing her current relationship status, the TV host, 30, told the Guardian that her last partner was in July 2024, which was when her and Stormzy, 31, whose real name is Michael Omari, announced their separation.

When asked if they would rekindle their romance, she said: “No, I think we’re happy in this friendship zone. I think it’s nice that people love him for being cute and love me for being cute, and when two people you like come together then people get excited by it.
