ITV's Lorraine Kelly still off sick with 'hideous bug' as colleague steps in again
dailyrecord.co.ukLorraine Kelly was noticeably absent from her morning show on Thursday again, following her being off sick on Wednesday with a sickness bug as her co-star was forced to step in.Ranvir Singh took the reins in her absence last minute yesterday, as she jokingly quipped she was "more prepared" for the show today and wishes the Scots TV icon a speedy recovery at home so she can soon return to our screens.The 45-year-old told GMB presenters Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard: "Lorraine is still recovering.
I got here at 6:30am today - I should be prepared, as opposed to yesterday!"Lorraine usually presents on weekdays between 9am and 10am.
She had taken to social media just an hour before the programme was due to start, and was "beyond disappointed" at missing out on her chat with Adam Lambert.
She said on Twitter: "When you have to be sent home from work early in the morning because you are suddenly attacked by a hideous bug and were looking forward to interviewing @adamlambert THAT!
