Loose Women star Ruth Langsford hails herself "a woman's woman" as she prepares to take part in a major International Women's Day event in Manchester with a host of star guests.
And she says it's always a pleasure to return to the city - now that her beloved son has become an adopted Mancunian himself.
Ruth was left "in bits" when her son Jack with her TV star husband Eamonn Holmes moved out of home for the first time to start life at university in Salford.
But he's loved the city so much that he's now decided to stay here after completing his degree. That means Ruth is always delighted when she gets to come up to Manchester.
