Good Morning Britain has finally found its replacement for Piers Morgan two years after he quit the show following a row about his comments about Meghan Markle.

Since his abrupt exit, Susanna Reid has been joined by a variety of co-stars including Richard Madeley, Adil Ray and Ed Balls.

But it has been officially confirmed that Martin Lewis will become a regular co-host on the ITV news programme after various stints fronting the show as well as appearing to offer his crucial money-saving advice.

GMB has announced that the 50-year-old financial journalist and consumer champion will join the show on various Wednesdays across the year, alongside long-term presenter Susanna.
