Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Piers Morgan caused an outcry amongst some viewers last month who accused him of 'mocking' the Chinese language. The Good Morning Britian host sparked 1,589 complaints to broadcasting watchdog Ofcom following the episode of the news programme on Tuesday January 21.
Now, more than a month later, ITV has now issued a statement on the incident, claiming that the comments were "not intended to mock or denigrate Chinese people, their language or accent" but "were intended to mock a member of the Royal Family." The influx of complaints came when Piers and co-host Susanna Reid were discussing the Queen's eldest grandson Peter Phillips appearing in a TV advert for state milk in China.
