Emmerdale star Georgia Jay has hinted at a sparking new love affair for her character Stephanie Miligan that's set to ruffle feathers, particularly those of her estranged father Caleb (played by William Ash).The twist unfolds as Steph reconnects with her parents Caleb and Ruby (Beth Cordingly) after she finds herself named in Helen Fox's (Sharon Maughan) will, following the latter's demise.

Yet, Steph's inherited fortune is far from her only concern.In conversation with the Daily Record, Georgia shared insights into Steph's dramatic return: "She comes back into the village, I think it has been a decade or so, and there's some conflict between mum Ruby and Caleb."Teasing upcoming events, she added: "I can't say too much about it, but it is an exciting storyline to be coming into, the past will be revealed of why she hasn't been in the picture for so long." Georgia continued, revealing Steph's intentions: "I can say when she sees dad and mum for the first time, she's not there to stay - it's more 'I want something then I'm going to leave'.

She wants nothing to do with it and just wants to get the money and go", reports Leicestershire Live. On top of the inheritance turmoil, Georgia confirmed a brewing romance between Steph and the village's notorious rogue Ross Barton (Michael Parr).
