Peter, played by David Michaels, arrived in the Dales this year following the tumultuous split between Kim and Will (Dean Andrews), with fans remembering how Will betrayed Kim with his former partner Rose (Christine Tremarco).
Following a blackmail plot which was eventually exposed as Kim's doing, the pair have been at odds during their acrimonious divorce proceedings.
In an attempt to protect her wealth from Will, Kim employed financial advisor Peter, leading to a romantic encounter that sparked jealousy in Will and resulted in him confronting Peter angrily.
Adding to the drama, Kim recently sought the assistance of village bad boy Ross Barton (Mike Parr) to permanently remove Will from the village - though stopping short of wanting him dead.
