ITV Emmerdale's Ruby star Beth Cordingly declared love by co-star as she's in tears over soap admission

Beth Cordingly has been flooded with support after Emmerdale fans hailed her latest performance as Ruby Fox-Milligan. Fans of the ITV soap have been heartbroken to discover the character has been the victim of childhood abuse.

In recent weeks viewers have seen Ruby dealing with memories resurfacing where her father Anthony Fox sexually abused her as a teenager.

This week, fans learnt that Caleb was not Steph's father and as he is convinced Ruby had an affair, he ended their relationship, telling Steph that "there was no coming back from this".

During Thursday night's (January 16) hour-long Emmerdale, Caleb was seen talking to his sister Chas and was convinced that the biological father of Steph is Ruby's old friend Rob, who spent a lot of time with her as they were growing up.
