Emmerdale star Beth Cordingly issued a desperate warning to fans as she revealed how she had previously been a victim of a scam.

The actress took to social media to warn her followers to 'stop and think' as she feared more people were being tricked. In a video posted on Instagram, Beth, who is known for playing Ruby Fox-Milligan in the ITV soap, revealed that she had been scammed before, and had almost fallen for another scam email.

Posting a video to the social media site, she revealed how she had received an email that appeared to be from Amazon Prime, asking her to update her payment details.

However, she did take a closer look and it was then she realised that it was a scam. Alongside the video in which she shared her warning, Beth encouraged: "STOP AND THINK.
