ITV fans have hailed a record-breaking Scottish Deal or No Deal contestant. Truck driver Stevie has become the biggest winner since the show rebooted.Viewers said they felt Stevie made the "right decision" to stick with the bank's offer of £24,600 as he walked away with the life-changing cash, instead of gambling on his winnings with an offer of potentially earning up to £75,000.Despite the top prize of £100,000 being ruled out early in the game, Stevie had a turbulent time on the gameshow, having been offered only £900 at one point from the Banker, before he bagged the big amount of cash. The Scots trucker explained that he has been planning his wedding with his girlfriend of 10 years and hoped to put the money towards the big day, as well as celebrating with a family holiday.Stevie had only three boxes left to play, with offers of £750, £10,000 and £75,000 when he decided to accept the large sum of £24,600 from the Banker.Viewers watching the ITV show at home were gritting their teeth praying for the Scot to accept the generous offer.
After he took the cash offering, it was revealed that his box contained the £75,000.But fans were still impressed with his performance, highlighting that his prize money was still a substantial win.
