Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon has shared how she was left gutted - along with many others - after missing out. The actress, who is known for playing Maria Windass in the ITV soap, was one of thousands attempting to bag tickets to the Eurovision Song Contest as the tickets went on sale.
Tickets for the competition's return to the UK went on sale on Tuesday (March 7) and tickets to the grand final sold out in just over half an hour.
It is thought this is the first time tickets to all nine live Eurovision shows have sold out on the first day. The final of international singing competition will take place at the 11,000-capacity Liverpool Arena on May 15 while the semi-final shows will begin on May 9.
The event is being held in the city after the UK was chosen to host the competition on behalf of war-torn 2022 winner Ukraine. The soap star added: "I'm so gutted.
