To make matters worse, Steve idolises Tommy as he is a former Weatherfield County player. However, in Monday's (26 February) episode, Tracy and Tommy's secret was finally exposed after Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) saw them in bed together and realised what was going on.
When Steve arrived at Tim's house to ask him to be his best man at his and Tracy's vow renewal, Tim couldn't stay quiet and told Steve all about his wife's infidelity.
Steve was stunned as he struggled to believe Tim's words. Steve soon headed back home to confront Tracy. She confessed all, leaving Steve devastated as he realised why their marriage hadn't been working over recent months.
