ITV News anchor Nina Hossain was left issuing an apology after she accidentally dropped the C-bomb live on air. The broadcast journalist was speaking on the lunchtime news on Thursday (March 7) when she discussed Jeremy Hunt following his spring Budget.

The Chancellor announced his latest plans for taxation and spending in the House of Commons on Wednesday (March 6). Among the measures, he announced a second cut to the rate of National Insurance of 2 per cent, after the rate was cut from 12 per cent to 10 per cent back in January.

Other tax cuts announced in the Budget include the extension of a cut on fuel duty, a new levy on vapes, a tax raid on owners of short-term holiday lets and the scaling back of non-dom tax relief. She immediately corrected herself, saying "Mr Hunt," and moved swiftly on.
