Official documents reveal that Gregson and his wife Emma are obliged to return the funds at a rate of £1,500 per month to Simon Gregson Productions.Despite reports suggesting the couple, who share three sons and have been married for 14 years, are separated, sources from Coronation Street claim they remain happily together.

The documents indicate they have three years to settle the debt or else they will need to sell their family residence, the Mirror reports.The paperwork details: "The Director had an overdrawn loan account of £252,824.

The analysis also revealed that this money was removed from the Company's bank account and paid into Mr Gregory's joint bank account with his estranged wife.
