A24 was also in the running at other point, with other studios, including Mubi, kicking the tires. It’s not clear what the final price tag is, but sources said the bidding was well over $10 million at one point in recent days.
One source even put it at $15 million, which would make it one of the biggest deals in Sundance history. “Together” follows a codependent couple that moves to the remote countryside to become even closer.
