Coronation Street's Mikey North made a cheeky joke about Manchester while appearing on This Morning on Friday (September 23).
Alongside co-star Millie Gibson, the Gary Windass actor appeared on the popular ITV programme to discuss the latest twists and turns on the cobbles.
The pair joined hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary on the sofa ahead of the soap's dramatic climax tonight. Mikey was explaining to Dermot whereabouts in the storyline the soap was up to at the moment when he made the off-the-cuff remark.
He said that on Wednesday, Kelly Neelan, played by Millie Gibson, tried to have Gary killed and that Gary 'dug his own grave and escaped.' Meanwhile, Kelly had been bundled into the back of a van. Mikey joked: "That's Manchester for you," which sent Millie, Alison and Dermot off giggling.
