ITV Coronation Street star announces she's joining Michelle Keegan on Brassic

She's known to Coronation Street fans as Nicky Wheatley but actress Kimberly Hart-Simpson has revealed that she's landed another role.

Kimberly took to Instagram to announce that she's joined the cast of Sky comedy- drama Brassic. Kimberly will be joining Weatherfield favourite Michelle Keegan on Brassic series 5 which is currently filming.

The show returned to screens for its fourth season last month on Sky Max and Now TV. The bold and brash drama follows Vinnie O'Neill, played by Vinnie O'Neill, and his friends, including Michelle's character Erin Croft.

The group struggle to get by in the fictional town of Hawley, and often resort to petty crime for money. And she added the greeting: "Hey babes." Mollie Gallagher who plays Corrie's Nina Lucas cheered: "AMAZING." Paddy Bever, who plays Max Turner, said: "There she is so proud x" Harriet Bibby, who plays Summer Spellman, posted a stream of applause emojis.
