Known for her quirky and funny personality, Bernie, mum to twins Gemma and Paul, has been entertaining viewers since 2019. Despite her rocky start and brushes with the law, she's become a beloved figure on the cobbles.
In a recent storyline, Bernie was sent to prison over Christmas, adding to the family's woes as son Paul battles Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
Further drama unfolded when social services questioned Gemma's ability to care for stepson Joseph and her four quads. Jane shared with Soap magazine how she channelled her personal grief while filming Paul's tragic MND storyline.
