ITV Bullseye viewers issue same plea as Freddie Flintoff makes TV return

ITV viewers have called for the channel to bring back Bullseye for a new series with Freddie Flintoff presenting after the Christmas special when down a storm with fans.

The iconic darts-themed gameshow returned to TV screens on Sunday evening (December 22) for a one-off festive special. The original show first launched in 1981 and ran for 14 years, presented by Jim Bowen.

It briefly returned in 2006 hosted by Alan Carr. This time cricketing legend Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff took over presenting duties and was joined by darts star Luke Littler and professional darts MC Richard Ashdown on the show.

The show sees three teams made up of an amateur darts player and a quiz enthusiast who compete to win a series of prizes. Fans took to social media to share their joy at the show’s return, with many praising Freddie as the host.
