The Traitors is a hit show from the BBC that relies on its contestants being distrusting towards each other in a game of psychological warfare that makes for great entertainment.

As it turns dark at Ardross Castle, the contestants are seated around the roundtable. Traitors and faithfuls alike are then allowed to voice who they believe is a traitor, ending in a vote that means one contestant will be banished from the competition for good.

The first episode on Wednesday (1st January) night saw Nathan be the first eliminated contestant of the series. He revealed that he was in fact a faithful, causing more pressure to build as everyone realised the three traitors are still at play.

Thursday night's episode saw both Charlotte and Elen in tears before and during the elimination round. Elen ended up being banished, and revealed through her tears that she was a faithful, leading to further distress amongst the remaining contestants as they realised they had voted off two faithfuls so far.
