The live semi-final of Britain's Got Talent witnessed utter pandemonium just minutes into the show when a returning act, Bobby Goldfinn, was met with biting boos from the crowd.Bobby Goldfinn, renowned for his comical goldfish disguise, had initially attempted to bring some humour on stage with joke-telling during auditions.

However, he consistently forgot the punchline to his jokes - an ironic replication of the fish's infamous memory span. The panel of judges, including Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli, were not amused, each striking their red buzzers in unison, the Mirror reports. With a bemused shrug, Cowell quipped, "Well, the good thing is you're going to forget this ever happened.." Much to the astonishment of everyone, Goldfinn returned later during the auditions, repeating his performance with an identical outcome of forgotten punchlines, displeased judges, and a symphony of red buzzers going off.

Even repeated attempts from BGT hosts Ant and Dec to politely show him off the stage couldn't deter the relentless Goldfinn. However, on the live semi-final on Thursday, early into the programme, the attention-grabber interrupted Ant and Dec, storming onto the stage to perform his now-infamous routine.

In no time, he began reciting his jokes causing audience members to jeer while the irate judges reached for their red crosses again.Get the latest news sent straight to your messages by joining our WhatsApp community today. You'll receive daily updates on breaking news as well as the top headlines across Scotland. No one will be able to see who is signed up and no one can send messages except the Daily Record team. All you have to do is click here if you're on mobile, select 'Join Community' and
