The singer, 28, took home the crown on Sunday, June 2nd, in an exhilarating final that was broadcast on ITV, narrowly beating runner-up magician Jack Rhodes and third-place finishers Abigail and Afronita, a mother-daughter dance duo.In addition to the distinction of being the winner, she also claimed the cash reward of £250k and the opportunity to showcase her talent before the Royal Family at the Royal Variety Performance.
Post-victory, Sydnie turned to social media to express gratitude to her fans for their unwavering support, the Mirror reports.Expressing herself via Instagram Stories, Sydnie expressed: "Thank you everyone who voted for me.
I don't know... My life! The Christmas clan are celebrating in the Wetherspoons." She then swivelled the camera around to display her family raising their beverages in celebration.The singer, who had previously earned the golden buzzer for her rendition of 'Tomorrow' from the musical Annie, also uploaded a picture of herself alongside the BGT panel of judges and hosts Ant and Dec.
