Amanda Holden
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

BGT winner Sydnie Christmas supported by Amanda Holden as she releases furious 'fix' statement

This year’s Britain’s Got Talent winner, singer Sydnie Christmas, has written a tense statement on Instagram in response to social media allegations from viewers that the result of the hugely successful talent show was fixed in her favour.

Fans were quick to spot that it received support from judge Amanda Holden, who pressed her Golden Buzzer for Sydnie and secured her a spot in the semi-final.

Posting alongside a photo of the email she received inviting her to her original BGT audition, Sydnie began by thanking those who supported her: “How do I even start to write this.To my dear family and friends near and far.There is not a word out there that is big enough to describe my love, and gratitude to every single one of you who believed in me.

I pray I made you proud. I’m glad I could give you all something back and something to show for, after supporting me for all these years.” Sydnie, who was a favourite to win BGT from her first audition, also noted that everyone she worked with on the show was “amazing” and added: “Meeting all the amazing contestants was the highlight.
