Mo Gilligan is hosting this year's Brit Awards alongside BBC Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo and TV presenter Maya Jama. The stand-up comedian was born in Lambeth, London and in 2017 he gained global attention after a very famous rapper quoted one of his hilarious gags on Instagram.
Mo, 33, uploaded his comedy clips - which consisted mainly of character sketches - to social media before becoming the famous face we know now.
An established comedian, Mo has sold-out tours and has two Netflix specials. His first, titled Momentum, was released in 2019 and his second, Mo Gilligan: There's Mo To Life, will premiere on the platform on 17 February. Read more:What time is the Brit Awards on tonight and who is nominated?
In 2020, Mo became a judge on The Masked Singer and a year later joined the judging panel for the first season of The Masked Dancer.
