Lambeth, Mo Gilligan’s parents split when he was just five years old but both parents raised him while he was living in Camberwell.
Mo’s flare for comedy developed when he attended a performing arts school in Pimlico and soon he was filming laugh out loud performances.
The Arsenal fan began his career filming different impressions of London characters on YouTube. While he worked his way up the comedy ladder, he gained a job as a retail assistant at the popular fashion brand Levi’s in Covent Garden and there he started experimenting with short form comedy sketches online. "I always worked in retail — Primark, the Apple Store, Reiss," he told the Evening Standard. "It’s all about how you sell the product to them.
