ITV announces huge This Morning shake up with new hosts taking over for half term

This Morning hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley will be taking a well deserved break from the daytime show from Monday 28th October to Friday 1st November, and will be replaced by Friday hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary.

Viewers can expect popular duo Alison and Dermot to deliver a half term and Halloween week packed with surprises and spooky treats.

Despite usually only fronting the Friday edition of the show, it's not the first time the pair have taken over for an extended period of time, having hosted the show this summer while Cat and Ben took a break.

Ben and Cat began presenting the ITV daytime show as main hosts in March, following the departure of both Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
