Bruno Fernandes admitted Manchester United have been 'too bad' in the Champions League this season after Wednesday's draw against Galatasaray.
United were aware of the importance of leaving Instanbul with a victory to give themself hope of reaching the knockout rounds of the Champions League and they made the dream start by taking a two-goal lead.
Brilliant goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes meant United were comfortably ahead within 20 minutes, but a mistake from Andre Onana gave Galatasaray a goal shortly before the half-hour mark. Although United needed their senior players to manage the game from there, Galatasaray clawed one back after another mistake from Onana and they were able to produce an equaliser in the 69th minute.
