Despite the promising branding, it never seemed to get us quite where we wanted to be. After a false start when the initial contractor was ditched, Get Me There was rolled out with a promise from bosses that London-style ‘contactless purse payment’ - where you can automatically tap on and off trams with your credit card without buying a ticket - would arrive by 2019.
