Down to Earth is that, while it attempts to tell viewers about these sustainable ways of living, it doesn't actually dive deep on any of the topics.
It hops from scene to scene so quickly that the two hosts don't actually get to ask real, meaningful questions of the people they're interviewing to give viewers any real takeaways.
Both Zac and Darin react to the things the experts say with a, "Whoa, that's cool!" and then move on. After watching the Iceland episode, for example, I still have no real idea why Zac and Darin went to a place that made chocolate bars, because they didn't do that great of a job explaining it or why it relates to the environmental mission of the show.
