It looks like The Beta Band are teasing a reunion tour

The Beta Band have been teasing some kind of reunion after appearing to be active on social media this past month.Formed in 1996 by Scottish musicians Steve Mason and Gordon Anderson, The Beta Band would go on to release three albums: 1999’s ‘The Beta Band’, 2001’s ‘Hot Shots II’ and 2004’s ‘Heros To Zeros’.

They eventually broke up in 2004, explaining that they were £1.2 million in debt to their record company.Since the start of this month, The Beta Band have been active on social media.

On February 4 2025, they shared a photo of the band as their first post on Instagram. A lot of their posts on the social media platform feature animation clips with one being titled “A Bent Bed Cap” and various throwback performances and photos.Now, it seems that the band may be hinting at a reunion tour.
