Is X down? Thousands report issues with social media platform formerly known as Twitter
manchestereveningnews.co.ukThe social media platform - formerly known as X - is currently down for some users. Users are being met with a message that says 'Welcome to your timeline' on the app this morning, with no tweets loading.
The message then says 'It's empty now but won't be for long'. The problem appears to be on both the mobile app and the desktop version of X.
According to the website downdetector, there was a spike in reports of the app being down at around 6am. As of 6.30am, X is still not loading correctly.
