Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna has confirmed that Manchester United loanee Brandon Williams is in contention for Saturday's clash with West Bromwich Albion.
Williams, who joined the Tractor Boys on loan for the duration of the season in August, missed the 3-2 win over Swansea City prior to the international break through illness.
He was a notable absentee from the matchday squad as the Championship promotion hopefuls extended their unbeaten run in the league to 12 matches.
But as they prepare to resume their promotion charge at the Hawthorns on Saturday evening, Williams is poised to be included in McKenna's plans for the trip to the Midlands. "So again gives us good depth and another really good option for Saturday and for the games coming up." Since making the switch to Portman Road, Williams, who had previously spent time on loan at Ipswich's arch rivals, Norwich City, has racked up 12 appearances for the club in all competitions, chipping in with two goals.
