Investigations are continuing into a 'senseless' Cheetham Hill stabbing that left a 26-year-old man with serious and 'life-changing' injuries.
Greater Manchester Police have confirmed enquiries are ongoing into the horror attack on Beckenham Road at around 9pm last Wednesday (October 23).
A scene remained in place overnight and throughout Thursday as police worked to investigate what led up to the 'senseless attack', with residents telling the M.E.N they saw a man 'smashing up a car' before police were called. READ MORE 'I've done it.

"I saw one man smashing in the window of a car while a man was in it," he said. "It was the first time I've ever seen anything like that around here." The M.E.N understands the incident took place in the middle of Beckenham Road, which neighbours the busy Cheetham Hill Road.
