Actress Vicky McClure will appear on the long-awaited return of ITV's Trigger Point on Sunday, January 28.The popular series follows former soldier turned bomb disposal expert Lana Washington as she attempts to foil terrorist threats across London.Following her service in Afghanistan, fierce Lana now helps the police counter-terrorism in the capital.But away from the excitement on screen, Vicky certainly lives a pretty colourful life.Away from her acting career, Vicky formed a group called ‘Our Dementia Choir’ in 2018 to discover how music could help combat dementia.The group were the subject of a BBC documentary which followed their progress and the group have appeared on shows including This Morning and Strictly Come Dancing.As a result of her work done to raise awareness of dementia, Vicky was awarded a Doctor of Letters degree from the University of Nottingham last year and called it her “proudest day to date”.Elsewhere, Vicky continues to raise awareness of the condition as a supporter of the Alzheimer’s Society charity and by completing annual Memory Walks after her grandmother was affected by the condition.Actress Vicky McClure said it was a "surreal" feeling to have been honoured by the King at her Windsor Castle investiture ceremony.The Line of Duty star has been appointed an MBE for services to drama and charity.It comes after she formed a choir to help people with dementia.The 40-year-old, from Nottingham, said she felt proud to be "breaking boundaries" with her campaigning and was looking forward to doing more.She described the experience of being made an MBE as "surreal" and having "a sketchy night's sleep" before the ceremony, but said the King asked what acting role she is working on in a "really nice,
