Prince Harry and Meghan Markle indulged in some German beer at a brewery bar in Dusseldorf to celebrate the Duke’s 39th birthday, amid The Invictus Games.

The royals were seen drinking lager and eating traditional German dishes, including sausage, Wiener Schnitzel, red cabbage and mashed potato before they left a “big tip” for the staff.

The couple were all smiles as they posed for a picture at the end of the evening. Meghan, 42, looked cool and casual for the celebrations as she donned some white skinny jeans and a red and white pinstriped shirt.

Prince Harry also kept it casual in some denim jeans, a grey shirt and trainers. The owner of the restaurant Thea Ungermann told MailOnline: “He was a lovely man and was having a very jolly time.
